Hiring event April 28 in Surprise; Meet 11 West Valley employers

The City of Surprise, in partnership with ARIZONA@WORK, is hosting a hiring event on Thursday, April 28 to connect job seekers with 11 different employers currently hiring in the West Valley.

The hiring event will be held 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Surprise Resource Center, 12425 W. Bell Road, Suite 124. 

Job seekers will be able to meet with employers such as Benevilla, Bearcat, ProTech Staffing, Vet Links, Home Instead, To My Surprise Shuttle, One Step Beyond, Alaska Federal, Your Sure Foundation, Gladiator Training and the State of Arizona. Available positions include: customer service, shuttle drivers, welders, case management, corrections officers, grant writer / marketing coordinator, job coach, reinforcement ironworkers apprenticeships and more! 

Prospective candidates should:

  • Register at azjobconnection.gov before the event
  • Bring copies of their resume
Dress to impress, and be ready for potential onsite interviews

Attendees will also have a chance to learn about ARIZONA@WORK and the different services and resources they provide to help job seekers pursue employment opportunities.
