The U.S. House Oversight Committee is investigating accusations that nine members of the Biden family received money from foreign nationals overseas, U.S. Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) said in a Fox News interview posted on the congressman's Twitter page.

"The FBI must hand over the FD-1023 form from June 30, 2020, to help us with this investigation," Biggs said on Twitter.

In the Fox interview, Biggs said, "money has changed hands, gone to multiple business entities that we believe were shell corporations set up by the Biden family, and has gone to nine members of the Biden family, including grandchildren, from various nations or bad actors in various nations. So you look at it and you say, ‘this seems to be credible and have a link to Joe Biden.' And certainly, if it’s not providing a link evidentiary-wise, it certainly would temporally-wise. What I mean by that is timing-wise. It would be consistent with the timing of him being vice president and timing with all of these other monies coming into these accounts.”

The House Oversight Committee posted a series of tweets expanding on Biggs' allegations and responding to criticisms: "DEBUNKING DEMOCRAT DISINFORMATION. Unsurprisingly, Democrats are spreading disinformation about yesterday's FBI briefing on the Biden bribery record. We are going to set the record straight. Claim: Democrats say the DOJ investigated the FD-1023 and took no action. Fact: The DOJ conducted an 'assessment' on separate material provided to the Department in January 2020. The FD-1023 was generated by the FBI on 6/30/20 based on another FBI record from 2017. The 'assessment' was closed out in August 2020. The FBI refused to answer what information was part of their 'assessment.'  If the 6/30/20 FD-1023 was included in the 'assessment,' how could the DOJ have conducted a credible, thorough investigation in just four weeks?”

Other tweets read, “Claim: Democrats allege the FD-1023 has been closed. Fact: The FBI confirmed multiple times that the information contained within the FD-1023 is being used in an ongoing investigation. Claim: Democrats claim the FD-1023 is part of the documents Rudy Giuliani provided the FBI in January 2020. Fact: The 6/30/20 FD-1023 stands on its own and contains information from the FBI's confidential human source dating back to another FD-1023 generated in 2017. The disinformation from the left reinforces that the FBI needs to produce this unclassified FD-1023 record to the House Oversight Committee.”

The committee also retweeted a tweet from U.S. Rep. Eric Burlison ( R-MO) "The FBI FD-1023 document is relevant to an ongoing investigation in @GOPoversight. Because the FBI won't hand it over, we will hold them in contempt. Simple as that.”
