Two Glendale theaters to show 'Police State' movie on October 23, 25

The latest movie from filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza, “Police State,” will be shown at two Glendale movie theaters on October 23 and 25.

“I honestly wouldn't have believed, prior to the 2020 election and prior to Biden coming to office, that I’d be making this movie,” D’Souza told PHX Reporter. “Which really shows that we have seen a speedy introduction of the police state on many different levels.”

The film shows the roots of what D’Souza calls “police state” activity by the government from the so-called “Patriot Act” following 9-11 to the more recent instances of “COVID" lockdowns, social media censorship, prosecution of concerned parents at school board meetings, and the surveillance and detention of Americans who were in Washington, D.C. on January 6, 2021.

“Police State” features D’Souza, as well as seasoned actor Nick Searcy, and interviews with U.S. House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R), radio host Dan Bongino, and a number of government whistleblowers.

The film's trailer has received 74 million views on social media platform X, formerly Twitter, as of publication time.

AMC Arrowhead Town Center 14 and AMC Westgate 20 will host showings at 6:30 and 7 p.m. on October 23 and 25.

The movie’s website lists additional viewings in Glendale, Mesa, Oro Valley, Surprise, and Tucson.
