The San Diego Padres have announced that their pitchers and catchers will be reporting to the Peoria Sports Complex this weekend for Spring Training 2024. This year, the Padres are starting their preparations early due to their upcoming regular season opener against the LA Dodgers in South Korea.
According to the Padres' official announcement, pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report to the Peoria Sports Complex on Sunday, February 11. This will be followed by the first full squad workout on Friday, February 16. The Seattle Mariners, another team using the Peoria Sports Complex for their Spring Training, will have their pitchers and catchers report on Thursday, February 15, with the first full squad workout taking place on Tuesday, February 20.
