Peoria's Global Sounds international music and dance series is offering a special treat for Valentine's Day. On Wednesday, February 14 at 7 pm, music lovers can attend a free concert featuring Andres Martinez & Ritmo Latino. This romantic concert promises to have the audience swaying to the rhythm of salsa, cha cha, and Latin jazz.
Andres Martinez, a talented musician, believes in the power of music to heal and connect with emotions. He says, "Music is therapy for the mind, heart, and soul, as music can help heal and can be felt with any emotion. What better way to celebrate the most romantic night of the year than with some Spanish love ballads 'Boleros.'"
The concert, which will last 80 minutes, will have a 15-minute intermission for attendees to recharge and socialize. The venue for this enchanting performance is the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts, located at 10580 N. 83rd Drive.
