Blake Masters, a Republican Congressional candidate for Arizona’s 8th District, has responded to a poll that shows former President Donald Trump leading President Joe Biden in Arizona. "Trump is dominating in the polls so much that the Democrats know their only chance is to imprison him. But even that won’t work, because Biden is just so unpopular," said Masters.

"Trump is dominating in the polls so much that the Democrats know their only chance is to imprison him. But even that won't work, because Biden is just so unpopular," said Masters. "Even Arizonans that aren't that political can tell their eggs and milk costs double what it used to, and that the airports are full of illegal aliens. That's why Arizona is going to break huge for Trump."

Masters, who is campaigning to represent Arizona’s 8th Congressional District, was previously endorsed by President Donald Trump for his 2022 race for U.S. Senate. An Arizona native, Masters attended high school in his home state before graduating from Stanford University and Stanford Law School. He and his wife, Catherine, are parents to four sons.

According to a new Emerson College Poll, former President Donald Trump leads President Joe Biden by four percentage points in Arizona, standing at 48% to 44%, with 8% of voters remaining undecided as the 2024 presidential election approaches. This signals a potentially tight race in this key battleground state for the upcoming election. The poll also revealed that 38% of Arizona voters approve of the job Gov. Katie Hobbs (D-Ariz.) is doing, while 42% disapprove.

Another survey conducted by the League of American Workers corroborates Trump's lead over Biden by four points. This poll indicates a potentially complex four-way race where Trump leads with 37% against Biden's 33%. Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. garners 18%, and Green Party candidate Cornell West captures 2% of the vote.
