The Main Library will host the eighth annual LIBCON West comic convention on December 7, from 12 to 5 PM. The event, located at 5959 W. Brown St., invites the public to a free celebration of pop culture, comics, manga, anime, sci-fi, and fantasy.
Attendees can meet comic book creators and cosplayers while exploring various vendor booths. The event will feature live performances and crafts for children. Prizes will also be available for participants.
Food options include three food trucks: Taqueria Del Sol, 3 Hearts DogHouse, and Vampire Penguin.
