The November issue of GCU Magazine highlights the progress and achievements of the Colangelo College of Business over the past decade. Named after Jerry Colangelo, a notable figure in sports business, the college has developed a strong entrepreneurial environment since its naming ten years ago.

In addition to this cover story, the magazine features several businesses started by Grand Canyon University alumni, including Chewk's Cookies, The Black Sheep, and Juanderful Tacos. These enterprises are located within the local community. The issue also explores GCU's culture of service, described by University Pastor Dr. Tim Griffin as "the greatest story never told."

Further stories include a profile on alumna Alexis Ruiz, who balances her career as a pediatric nurse with being a world champion archer. Men's basketball coach Bryce Drew is also featured for his role in motivating students both academically and athletically.

Other articles discuss GCU's new initiative to support students interested in becoming bivocational ministers. The College of Natural Sciences' efforts to offer science courses online and the College of Engineering and Technology's encouragement for women to enter STEM fields are also covered.
