Debbie Lesko comments on public safety, military rights reversal, and airport tragedy

Congresswoman Debbie Lesko, representing Arizona’s 8th district since 2018, shared her thoughts on several recent issues through a series of tweets. Her posts reflect engagement with local law enforcement, military personnel rights, and sympathy for victims of a tragic event.

On January 28, Congresswoman Lesko expressed her appreciation for Sheriff Jerry Sheridan's contributions during a Board of Supervisors meeting. She noted the importance of his plans to enhance public safety. "Great to hear from Sheriff @JerrySheridan24 at yesterday's Board of Supervisors meeting to hear what he plans to do to improve public safety."

The following day, January 29, Lesko voiced her support for reversing decisions related to military personnel who were dismissed due to their stance on COVID-19 vaccinations. She praised former President Donald Trump and Secretary Pete Hegseth for addressing this issue. "No member of our military should have been fired for exercising their choice to take or refuse the COVID-19 vaccine. I am happy that President @realDonaldTrump and Secretary @PeteHegseth are reversing this great injustice to these brave men and women."

On January 30, Congresswoman Lesko extended her condolences following a tragic incident at Reagan National Airport in Washington D.C., expressing sorrow over the event's impact on affected families. "My thoughts and prayers are with all the families of the victims of the horrific tragedy at Reagan National Airport in Washington D.C. tonight. Terrible and heartbreaking news."
