GCU Magazine celebrates university's 75th anniversary with special February issue

The February issue of GCU Magazine highlights 75 aspects that the editorial team appreciates about Grand Canyon University (GCU) as it marks its 75th anniversary. The list includes elements such as the lively Havocs, scenic sunsets from Halo Garage, advanced campus labs, CityServe initiatives, and President Brian Mueller.

Additional features in the magazine include a story on three telemetry nurses who are GCU alumnae working at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix. The publication also covers the growth of the Center for Workforce Development, which has expanded to Austin and is introducing construction and semiconductor pathways.

Philanthropist Tom Lewis is spotlighted for his contributions to the T.W. Lewis Center for Student Success. Other stories feature GCU graduate Ron Polk, known as the Father of SEC Baseball due to his long tenure as head baseball coach at Mississippi State, and Juliet Awolumate, an online student running a nonprofit aimed at empowering young women.
