The GUHSD Governing Board has honored four individuals and one student group from Greenway High School with the Achievement Above All award. This recognition celebrates their dedication, leadership, and contributions to the school and community.

Mr. Kent Renard received the teacher award for his nearly three decades of service in education, including 21 years at Greenway. As a teacher in the autism program and Special Education Department Chair, he has played a key role in promoting inclusivity and opportunity for students. His colleagues commend his commitment to communication and teamwork.

Boston Gadsby was recognized as the student recipient. Known for his leadership and involvement in various activities such as Student Council, DECA, Key Club, and theater, Boston also serves as Senior Class President. Holly Eyerley praised him: “If someone asked me to name a student that has made the most of their high school experience, I'd name Boston.” He plans to join the Air Force after graduation.

The LINK Crew was awarded as the student group recipient. This leadership group supports freshmen transitioning into high school under Miss Holly Eyerley's guidance. Freshman Gavin Ammons expressed gratitude: “I was really thankful for meeting my Link leader and group members that first day.”

Jon Denny received recognition as support staff recipient for his 20 years of service in various roles within the maintenance department. Jeff Feldman noted Jon's importance: “Jon has always been a hard-working and dependable person who is a very important part of the Greenway Crew.”

Amber Clark was honored as volunteer recipient for her six years with the Parent Action Club and her broader community efforts. Her work includes organizing youth athletic programs alongside her husband.

These honorees reflect Greenway High School's spirit through their dedication and service, significantly impacting both school life and the wider community.
