City of Surprise issued the following announcement on May 14
Beginning Sunday, May 17, Waddell Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Sarival Avenue to Reems Road.
The lane reductions will be in place through early July 2020, weather permitting, to allow for milling and paving preparation work on Waddell Road.
Left turns from eastbound Waddell Road to northbound Legacy Parc Blvd., 157th Avenue, and the commercial complex on the northwest corner of Reems and Waddell roads will all be restricted.
Traffic can still make left turns from eastbound Waddell Road at both Sarival Avenue and Reems Road during this time.
