The Joint Legislative Budget Committee paid an average compensation of $82,735 during 2018, according to data compiled by The Arizona Republic. Arizona public employees as a whole averaged 28 percent less with a compensation of $59,597. Total compensation is made up of an employee's annual salary with the addition of any overtime pay earned throughout the year.

The highest-paid public employee working for the Joint Legislative Budget Committee—Richard Stavneak—earned $155,000.
