University of Arizona Athletics issued the following announcement on Aug. 13.
It was the first day of pads for the Arizona Wildcats on Thursday evening at the Dick Tomey Practice Field. Over multiple team periods, tackling drills and two-minute drills, head coach Jedd Fisch got to see his squad go at full contact for the first time since the spring game.
