University of Arizona - University Libraries recently issued the following announcement.
UX@UA turns 4 years old in August! Whether you've been with us since the beginning or just learned about us, come join us to connect and celebrate. This event is virtual, though we welcome you to BYOB for our birthday toast, and BYOC (bring your own cake) because what's a birthday party without cake?
We'll kick things off at 4:30 with a special recap from our organizers on accomplishments from the past 4 years, along with some exciting announcements of what's to come in the fall semester.
Around 5pm we'll facilitate several rounds of speed networking, where we'll randomly assign you to small breakout rooms for 5 minutes each, so you can make as many new UX friends as possible. We'll have some prompts to get you started.
Newcomers always welcome! You don't need prior UX experience and you don't have to be associated with the UA to participate. We're a friendly bunch and all are welcome.
