City of Surprise issued the following announcement on Nov. 12.
Winter Break Camp is right around the corner! The City of Surprise Parks and Recreation Department is offering a two-week Winter Break Camp that will run December 20-30. Camp registration will begin Wednesday, November 17 for Surprise residents and Wednesday, December 8 for non-residents.
This camp provides opportunities for youth currently enrolled in Kindergarten - 6th grades to have fun in a safe and supervised program. Your child will enjoy on-site activities such as arts & crafts, games, sports, field trips and more. Camp will be held at Sierra Montana Recreation Center located at 14861 N. Spring Ln. and will be available from 6:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
The fee is $25 per day for Surprise residents and $29 for non-residents. There is a registration fee of $10 for residents and $30 for non-residents. The program will fill quickly, so please register early to ensure a space!
With daily reassessments in relation to COVID-19; rules, procedures and general guidance are subject to change. Participants must adhere to guidelines set forth by the CDC.
To download a registration packet, visit surpriseaz.gov/recreation. Once the packet is completed, bring it to the Parks and Recreation Department office (15960 N. Bullard Ave.) to finalize your registration.
