Sun City issued the following announcement on Nov. 30.
Congratulations to Allison Buckley who was one happy winner of a recent raffle hosted by the Bell Metal Club. The design of her prize, a colorful saguaro cactus, was first created on a computer then cut out of 16 gauge cold rolled steel on a computer numerical controlled (CNC) plasma machine. It was then powder coated, which is a finishing process in which thermoplastic material is electrostatically charged and applied to the surface. The piece was then baked until it hardened. What a lucky day for Allison!
