City of Peoria issued the following announcement on Feb. 2.
The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) will be hosting a virtual public meeting for the Loop 101 (Agua Fria Freeway), 75th Avenue to Interstate 17, widening project, which is currently in the final design phase.
The meeting will be Thursday, Feb. 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. on Webex at bit.ly/L101-75-I17PM (meeting access code: 24812123024, password: ADOT2022). The project will add a general purpose lane in each direction to the outside of Loop 101, lengthen bridges, modify interchange ramps, add sound walls where warranted, convert lighting to LED, and make other improvements.
