City of Peoria issued the following announcement on Feb. 15.
The City of Peoria is partnering with Safeway to provide flu, shingles, pneumonia and COVID-19 vaccines throughout the month of February at the Peoria Community Center, located at 8335 W. Jefferson St. Free COVID-19 booster shots are now available for all vaccine types as well. The Peoria Fire-Medical Department will provide COVID-19 shots on Wednesdays and Safeway will provide COVID-19 shots and the other vaccines on Fridays. Clinics will be Wednesday, Feb.16, Friday, Feb. 18, Wednesday, Feb. 23, and Friday, Feb. 25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Walk-in appointments are available.
