CITY OF TUCSON - CITY COURT - CITY MAGISTRATE VACANCY 

SALARY: $155,077 ANNUALLY / APPOINTED

Tucson City Court has one vacancy for a City Magistrate. The successful candidate will be appointed for a term from date of appointment for a period of four years.

The City Magistrate Merit Selection Commission will make a recommendation to the Mayor and Council.

Applicants must be:

1) Of good moral character, and

2) A resident of Arizona for one year immediately preceding recommendation, and

3) Admitted to the practice of law in Arizona for five years immediately preceding recommendation.

Applicants should also be familiar with Supreme Court of Arizona Administrative Orders. Persons seeking appointment shall, as part of the appointment application process, furnish a full set of fingerprints to the City.
