Peoria Sports Complex Specials This Week

San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners spring training games are taking place this week at the Peoria Sports Complex. The complex located at 16101 N. 83rd Avenue is offering special promotions for attendees.

On Tuesday, March 5th, the complex is hosting "Hometown Heroes" night. All veterans and active duty service members can save 25% on select game tickets. According to the announcement, proof of service is required, and there is a limit of four tickets per game. This offer cannot be combined with other ticket promotions and tickets must be purchased at the ticket office.

Friday, March 8th is "Bark at the Park" night, sponsored by Petco. Attendees can bring their dogs to the game by purchasing a $5 dog admission ticket at the stadium ticket windows. 100% of the proceeds from dog admission will be donated to support animal health and wellness. Dogs must be on a leash, and the admission for dogs is through Gate C.

Saturday, March 9th is "Book It to the Ballpark" day where attendees can support Peoria's libraries by donating a like-new children's book. Those who donate a book can play catch on the field after the game, and they should bring their own ball and glove. Books can be donated at the library's booth on the concourse during the game.

Lastly, on Sunday, March 10th, "Kids Run the Bases" event will take place. Children ages 12 and under are encouraged to run the bases after the game. Additionally, kids between 8 and 12 years old who arrive early on select games have the opportunity to participate in various activities such as taking the field with a player, announcing a batter, or leading the 7th inning stretch. These activities have limited availability and are given on a first-come, first-served basis.

For more information or to purchase tickets, individuals can visit www.peoriasportscomplex.com/tickets. Peoria residents are also offered a special discount where they can save 25% on up to four tickets for every spring training game they attend at the Peoria Sports Complex. Proof of residency is required, and discounted resident tickets can be purchased at www.peoriasportscomplex.com/spring-training/resident-rewards.
