Peoria Arts brings Kawambe-Omowale African Drum & Dance back to downtown Peoria for a free concert Wednesday, April 10 at 7 pm. The concert is part of the ongoing Global Sounds series at the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts, 10580 N. 83rd Drive.
Kawambe-Omowale African Drum & Dance, is celebrating 30 years in the Valley of the Sun this April, and offers a unique and authentic glimpse into African and African Diaspora culture through their dynamic performances of drumming, dancing, singing, and storytelling.
