City of Surprise issued the following announcement on May 20
Due to the Memorial Day holiday May 25, city of Surprise sanitation customers ONLY are reminded that collection will be postponed by one day the week of May 25-29. Monday collection will occur on Tuesday; Tuesday collection will occur on Wednesday; Wednesday collection will occur on Thursday; Thursday collection will occur on Friday.
Not all city of Surprise residents are city of Surprise trash and recycling customers, and as such, may not experience a change in pickup service. Please check with your service provider.
Most City of Surprise administrative offices are currently closed to the public until June 1, 2020; any that are currently open will be closed Monday, May 25 due to the holiday.
