City of Surprise issued the following announcement on Dec. 3.

The City of Surprise Parks & Recreation Department is now accepting team registrations for Winter Adult Co-Ed and Men’s Softball League Divisions, Co-Ed and Women’s Kickball, Adult Basketball, Co-Ed Indoor Volleyball and Adult Flag Football. 

Registration Dates

Returning teams from Surprise Fall 2021 Adult Sports Leagues may register December 6 & 7 by contacting the Parks & Recreation office in person or by phone between 8 a.m.-5 p.m. You can also send an email to Ian.Wallace@surpriseaz.gov. Registration will open to non-returning and new teams starting December 8 online, over the phone or at the Parks and Rec Office. Team registration ONLY.

Adult Co-Ed and Men’s Softball

Team Registration Fee: $450

League Nights: Men’s Tuesdays; Men’s Thursday; Co-ed Friday; Co-ed Sunday

Leagues Begin: Week of January 9

League Format: Double headers and a single elimination tournament

Team Limit: 8 teams per division

Adult Basketball

Villanueva Recreation Center 15660 N. Hollyhock St.

Team Registration Fee: $400

League Night: Tuesdays and Sundays (New!)

Season Begins: Week of January 9

League Format: 1 game per week and a single elimination tournament

Team Limit: 8 teams per league night

Co-Ed Kickball

Marley Park – City Park, 15126 W. Sweetwater Ave.  

Team Registration Fee: $150

League Night: Saturdays

Season Begins: January 15

League Format: Double-headers and a single elimination tournament

Team Limit: 6 teams

Women’s Kickball
